Breaking News from Recair!

The new Recair heat exchanger limits energy consumption and reduces noise

Following lengthy research, Recair has further improved the internal geometry of its heat exchangers. We know that when air flows through a heat exchanger, the pressure of the air decreases. Recair has adjusted the internal geometry of the heat exchanger so that the loss of pressure is 20% lower while achieving the same high effectiveness as before (> 92%). This means that the fans can run at a considerably lower speed and therefore use less kinetic energy.

What is Recair?

Creating the ideal indoor climate

Recair manufactures innovative, environmentally friendly heat-recovery cores. Integrated into a heat-recovery ventilation unit, these products create the ideal, comfortable indoor climate - not too hot, not too cold, not too humid, not too dry, with a steady supply of healthy, clean, fresh, allergen-free air. And they can do it while reducing energy bills and minimising environmental impact. Recair products can be used to create the ideal climate in any indoor space: in your home, at your office, in schools and other public buildings, in truck-drivers’ cabins, cars and campers - even in greenhouses.

Recair Sensitive series withstands flammability test

The Recair Sensitive series is a unique series of patented heat exchangers for use in modern ventilation systems. These heat exchangers withdraw heat from one air current and transfer this heat to another air current. This enables the recuperation of up to 93% of the present heat. In order to meet modern-day requirements, for instance DIN 4719 in Germany, Recair now places an aluminium grid over the inflow surfaces of the exchanger to prevent ignition of the plastic. Independent research bureau Efectis, part of TNO, carried out several flammability tests on Recair products where flammability was determined in case of direct exposure to flames. This indicated that the heat exchangers passed all seven tests with flying colours, thus meeting both the ISO 11925-2:2002 and NEN-EN 13501-1:2007 norm.

New assembly machine put into use

Recently Recair put a new machine into use for the assembly of its heat exchanger cores. The machine supplies a fully automatic placing, bonding and fixation of side panels and and strips to the heat exchanger stack. It guarantees a reliable production process by which risk on deviations in outer dimensions of produced heat exchanger cores is diminished to the minimum. This is important. After all, the smaller the deviations, the better the core fits into your unit, the lower the leakage and the higher the effectiveness.
